PrAna Yoga Mat

With the large increase in interest for fitness and healthy living, Yoga has been becoming increasingly more popular. Today, there are many different styles of Yoga besides the traditional one and each style has just as many different mats available to satisfy the hungry Yogis around the world. One such mat, made for traditional Yoga, is the PrAna Yoga mat.

The PrAna Yoga mat is priced at a premium, and is supposed to perform as such as well. Before we start to get into details, we have to say that the mat did not disappoint and that it definitely stands the hype.

The mat is very sticky, which helps you with every pose. You can almost not miss a pose anymore as the balance part is largely helped out by the mat. In fact, the mat is so sticky that many people will need time to get used to it first before being able to sue the stickiness for their advantage.  The mat is about 30” wide, which is wider than the average Yoga mat. This helps though as the larger surface is nice for small students and a total relief for larger students. The mat is very light and despite it being considered a regular thickness mat, it is thick enough that you will not need any extra cushioning and that your knees, elbows and wrists will be protected.  Besides all this, there is one more thing that is so incredibly we had to give it its own paragraph.

The mat is made from all eco materials. This is great, as previously all eco materials had failed to be efficient enough to be used for Yoga mats. Considering this, this mat is a real improvement over others mats as it does not only perform well but is made from materials that are also eco friendly. We found this to be incredible and something that shows us where the market will go in the future. 

All in all, the entire PrAna Yoga mat is a great addition to anyone’s mat arsenal. If you can only buy one mat, we encourage you to go fir this one; you will not be disappointed. The mat is worth its money at least, if not more.
